Inspired by video games, real-time 3D has now conquered many other fields and given rise to a new profession: Real-time 3D graphics designer. Real-time 3D is the art of interactively implementing 3D scenes with characters and objects. There are many fields of application, ranging from engineering simulation to virtual visits to buildings, museums and monuments.
